Land transactions often involve unique considerations that many real estate professionals don’t encounter in traditional residential deals. From acreage and rural infrastructure to specialized contracts and land use considerations, farm and ranch properties require a deeper understanding of the Texas land market. This course introduces real estate professionals to the key fundamentals of farm and ranch transactions in Texas. Participants will gain insight into the common challenges that arise in land deals and learn how to better prepare for the complexities that can impact these transactions. By understanding the unique characteristics of farm and ranch real estate, license holders will be better equipped to avoid common pitfalls, navigate rural property transactions more smoothly, and confidently serve buyers and sellers in the Texas land market.
