Course ID: 05855-RECE | 3 Hours CE Credit | Instructor: Meagan Campion | "Do the minerals convey?” It’s one of the most common—and most confusing—questions in Texas real estate. Mineral rights can significantly impact property value, negotiations, and client expectations, yet many real estate professionals feel unsure how to address mineral-related questions when they arise. This course gives license holders a clear, practical overview of mineral rights and the REALTOR®’s role in transactions involving mineral ownership. Participants will learn how mineral rights affect property sales, how reservations and leases may impact buyers and sellers, and where to find reliable information when mineral questions surface. Designed to help agents stay within the boundaries of real estate practice, the course provides the tools and knowledge needed to identify mineral-related issues, communicate effectively with clients, and recognize when specialized legal or industry expertise may be required.
