Thursday, May 1, 2025 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
(CDT)
Description
City ordinances regulating development within the city can change based on the actions of a city council. The purpose
of this course is to familiarize the licensee with city codes and development regulations so the licensee can provide the
most intelligent level of service possible to the client. It will show the interdependent relationship between city staff,
builders and the real estate agent in the process of property development and sales.
This class will provide the licensee an introduction to city housing development and building guidelines, review updates
and provide insight on the most important and most needed development regulations that govern real estate sales and
development.
Late Cancellation or No-Show Fees: Out of respect for our event organizers and other attendees, the Waco Association of REALTORS® has a 48-hour cancellation policy for rescheduling or canceling an event registration. If you cannot attend the event, contact the association office at least 48 business hours before. Please note that event registrations canceled after the allowed time or no-shows will be charged a late cancel/no-show fee of $20.
Any fee waiver request must be received the same day as the missed or canceled event registration regardless of the time of the event registration (ie., if the event registration was on March 24, the member must message the association on March 24 to request a waiver) A waiver request does not obligate the Waco Association of REALTORS® to waive the fee.
As a reminder, the Waco Association of REALTORS® is not responsible for waiving late cancel/no-show fees if a member fails to receive reminders. We uphold our policy to ensure fairness and respect for all members.
