It continues: Realtors, therefore, are zealous to maintain and improve the standards of their calling and share with their fellow Realtor a common responsibility for its integrity and honor. In recognition and appreciation of their obligations to clients, customers, the public, and each other, Realtors continuously strive to become and remain informed on issues affecting real estate and, as knowledgeable professionals, they willingly share the fruit of their experience and study with others. They identify and take steps, through enforcement of this Code of Ethics and by assisting appropriate regulatory bodies, to eliminate practices which may damage the public or which might discredit or bring dishonor to the real estate profession. Realtors having direct personal knowledge of conduct that may violate the Code of Ethics involving misappropriation of client or customer funds or property, willful discrimination, or fraud resulting in substantial economic harm, bring such matters to the attention of the appropriate Board or Association of Realtors. Late Cancellation or No-Show Fees: Out of respect for our event organizers and other attendees, the Waco Association of REALTORS® has a 48-hour cancellation policy for rescheduling or canceling an event registration. If you cannot attend the event, contact the association office at least 48 business hours before. Please note that event registrations canceled after the allowed time or no-shows will be charged a late cancel/no-show fee of $20. Any fee waiver request must be received the same day as the missed or canceled event registration regardless of the time of the event registration (ie., if the event registration was on March 24, the member must message the association on March 24 to request a waiver) A waiver request does not obligate the Waco Association of REALTORS® to waive the fee. As a reminder, the Waco Association of REALTORS® is not responsible for waiving late cancel/no-show fees if a member fails to receive reminders.
