TACS1 - Introduction to Commercial Real Estate (Virtual/Zoom)

This class will be held virtually through ZOOM 8:30am-5:00pm on the following dates: January 6, 7, 13, and 14. Participants must attend all four sessions to receive credit.

This course is designed to prepare students for entry into the commercial real estate field by exposing them to the fundamentals of commercial real estate finance and economics, and then through the application of those fundamental concepts using actual practice scenarios on a variety of property types they are likely to encounter. It will provide a strong grounding in basic concepts that will help students who intend to pursue higher designations such as CCIM. It will also prepare agents who are interested in moving their field of business from residential to commercial, or residential agents who occasionally take part in commercial transactions. 

This class is the first of three 30-hour courses to obtain the Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS) certification. Refund/Cancellation Policy: You must request a refund for class fees in writing, at least two days prior to the class start date. If your request for a refund is less than two days prior to the class start date, you will be charged a $10.00 administration fee for CE classes. SAE/Qualifying Classes - $25.00. No-shows, day-of, or post-class start date refund requests will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Bundled classes are not refundable.
